On World Day Against Child Labour 2025, Naihati New Life Society stood united in the fight to protect the rights and dreams of children by organizing a powerful awareness rally. The event aimed to shine a light on the harsh realities of child labour and to encourage community-wide action to end it.
The rally was flagged off by Naihati Municipality and saw enthusiastic participation from local residents, students, volunteers, teachers, and child rights advocates. Marchers held banners, placards, and posters with bold messages condemning child labour and calling for every child’s right to education, safety, and a happy childhood.
As the procession moved through the streets — from Naihati Municipality via Ganga Ferryghat to Naihati Station — it drew the attention of passersby and commuters, sparking important conversations about the need for collective vigilance and responsibility.
