Special Initiatives to promote Indigenous People’s Rights over their natural places of domicile, say forests and river-side on which their livelihood depend, and they in turn preserve forests and rivers, since they worship trees and rivers as their living Deities and sources of life… this is an alternative way of saving bio-diversity, saving lives, managing climate change making the efforts of promoting Disaster Risk Management essential in the islands of Sundarbans….battered by natural calamities in almost every year!

We also conduct cultural competitions every year to bring awareness particularly among young people on multiple social challenges before reaching to the critical stages. The Culturals meant to promote peace and communal harmony, and for prevention of early marriage, family violence, unsafe economic migration etc… to name a few.
