Caring for Our Elders, Strengthening Our Community

As we grow older, our needs change. While aging is a natural part of life, many senior citizens face challenges such as declining health, loneliness, reduced mobility, and limited access to healthcare. Elderly care is not only about medical support—it is about ensuring dignity, companionship, security, and a sense of belonging. At Naihati New Life Society, we believe that every senior citizen deserves respect, care, and the opportunity to age with dignity. As part of our commitment to the welfare of the elderly, we currently distribute dry food supplies twice every month to senior citizens in need, helping to ensure their nutritional security and well-being. Building on this experience, our proposed Geriatric Care Centre aims to create a supportive environment where elderly individuals can receive healthcare assistance, emotional support, recreational opportunities, and meaningful social interaction.

Our initiatives focus on:

  • Distribution of dry food supplies twice a month
  • Regular health check-ups and wellness monitoring
  • Counselling and emotional support
  • Recreational and social activities
  • Awareness on healthy ageing
  • Assistance in accessing social welfare schemes
  • Community engagement and intergenerational bonding

We believe that a society is measured by how it treats its elders. By caring for our senior citizens today, we build a more compassionate and inclusive tomorrow.

Because those who once cared for us deserve our care, respect, and gratitude.
